Programmes

Global Scholars Programme

We support education entrepreneurs and university partners worldwide to build university access programmes in their region or country. These programmes focus on increasing access to university for disadvantaged young people. PhDs are trained deliver tutoring interventions for 10-18 year-olds, via a unique and fun subject course. Previous projects have built access programmes in Botswana, South Africa, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Ireland and the US.

International Academic Seminar Programme

Access to top universities is very competitive, and students at international schools are often required to demonstrate how they have gone above and beyond the school curriculum. The International Academic Seminar Programme (ASP) is a programme of six seminars exclusively designed and delivered by PhDs based at top UK universities. Students attend a launch and graduation event. The programme is delivered to small groups, replicating teaching at a research-intensive university, with an extended final assignment, and personalised academic advice in a one-to-one feedback supervisions.

Digital Subject Resources

We work with UK universities and DTPs to deliver widening participation and PhD public engagement projects. Our main programme is the Research-Based Curricula programme, creating a library of digital subject coursebooks which are written by PhD researchers and linked to the curriculum. These resources target under-represented students. This work primarily takes part in the UK but is open to international universities interested in helping schools and students better access content, expertise and create strengthened access programmes.

Researcher Development Training Programme

Our Researcher and Undergraduate Development Programmes support retention and student success through targeted professional development courses on international, social and professional leadership. These can be offered to boost your existing package, or as a full package in itself. Our series of courses that range from International Student Excellence to Social Impact and Leadership to Employability Skills; we have entire curricula or packages of themed courses that help increase student confidence, skills and ability to have social impact post-degree.

Funding

Our programmes are funded in different ways. If you'd be interested in a conversation about partnership or support to one of our programmes, please contact [email protected].
