About Our International Work

The Incubator

Equal access to higher education remains an issue for countries worldwide. AccessEd was founded to support the creation of a global network that brings together new and existing programmes that bridge the gap for young people from all backgrounds.

In 2017 we launched GrowUni to help invest in solutions with partners on the ground and share our ‘programme blueprint’ using Post-Graduate university students as engaging, inspiring tutors for under-served young people.

We identify high-potential education entrepreneurs (individuals, organisations and university hubs) and work with them to design a programme and adapt the blueprint to fit their region's HE or university access needs. Through our incubator support, we help partners to develop and evaluate their university access programmes, as well as invest in their development as leaders and organisations to scale their solution nationally.
