AccessEd exists to increase access to university for young people from under-served backgrounds around the world.

We are creating a global network of partner organisations committed to this mission, sharing with them our expertise, resources and support.

How we increase university access globally

AccessEd has was started by the co-founders of The Brilliant Club, an award-winning and independently-evaluated university access programme in the UK.

We established AccessEd to share our expertise and to promote access to university for young people from under-served backgrounds around the world.

One way we do this is by delivering 'ReachUni', a library of programmes and materials to support students, teachers and researchers in the UK and overseas. This includes:

  • Curriculum programmes, delivered in-person or by teachers
  • Information, advice and guidance materials
  • Digital engagement materials

We have also designed 'GrowUni' as a programme of support for edu-preneurs who are developing their own university access programmes outside the UK. This includes:

  • Sharing the AccessEd 'blueprint' for programme design and delivery
  • Providing incubator support to help the growth of social enterprises
  • Building a network for like-minded partners to share learning and connections
