AccessEd offers programmes that help develop the skills of post-graduates and researchers with the aim of better supporting young people globally.
We do this by providing opportunities to develop their skills and ability to contribute to the world around them, either by volunteering as a tutor, a course creator or through special CPD programmes specially developed with your university.
At the moment we recruit for the below programmes through your university, so if you are interested please make sure you university's Widening Participation, Student Success, Graduate or Careers Department is aware of our programmes. Please share this page.
We work with researchers in three key ways:
We work globally with country entrepreneurs to build university access programmes, training post-graduates as tutors. These programmes use a special tutoring model that supports young people on their journey to higher education while training the post-graduates to teach, develop lessons and deliver a course. This is based on the work of our award-winning sister charity The Brilliant Club UK.
To find out if we are in your country visit our International Network page or register interest in your country below.
Tutorial and Content Creation - UKWe work with universities to recruit post-graduates and sometimes undergraduates that in turn develop special short-courses and tutorials for students from 10 to 18 years of age so they are better prepared for university. This includes our Research-Based Curricula Series where researchers are trained to write course books for schools to use in their subjects.
With the experience of working with graduate and post-graduate students internationally, our charity also runs a training programme working with universities to prepare their students for the future. We specialise in social and international impact but offer a variety of courses. At the moment, universities book these directly with us but you can sign-up below to be notified of future opportunities in 2020-21 and beyond.
To express your interest in any of the above or potential future development opportunities with our charity please fill out our short form here and register to join our Mailing List.
The Brilliant Club is the original charity working with university post-graduate researchers to help you give back as either a tutor or teacher. To find out more about being a Tutor with the Scholars Programme or a teacher through the Researchers in Schools programme visit: The Brilliant Club.
